Rental Agreement

This Rental Agreement forms a binding contract between the renter ("Customer") and Kit on Rent Private Limited ("Company") upon confirmation of a rental booking.

1. Equipment Rental

The Company agrees to make available the cricket equipment selected by the Customer as per the confirmed booking. Equipment remains the property of the Company at all times. The Customer has no right to ownership of any rented item.

2. Rental Period

The rental period begins at the time of delivery and ends at the time of equipment collection by the Company. The rental period and dates are agreed upon at the time of booking confirmation. Any extension of the rental period must be requested in advance and is subject to availability and additional charges.

3. Payment Obligation

The Customer agrees to pay the confirmed rental fee, applicable delivery charge, and security deposit as communicated by the Company. Payment must be completed before equipment is delivered.

4. Customer Obligations

• The Customer must provide a valid government-issued photo ID before delivery.
• The Customer must use the equipment solely for the purpose of playing cricket.
• The Customer must not allow any person other than themselves and authorised players to use the equipment.
• The Customer must take reasonable care of the equipment and protect it from theft, loss, or unnecessary damage.
• The Customer must report any theft or loss to the Company immediately.
• The Customer must return the equipment on the agreed date and allow the Company's representative to collect it.

5. Liability for Loss or Damage

The Customer is fully liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the rented equipment beyond normal wear and tear during the rental period. The cost of repair or full replacement will be charged to the Customer. In the event of theft, a police report must be filed and a copy provided to the Company.

6. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of ₹5,000 is collected at booking confirmation. It will be refunded after equipment is returned and verified. Any damage costs will be deducted before the refund is processed.

7. Indemnity

The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless against any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of the Customer's use of the rented equipment.

8. Acceptance

By ticking the agreement checkbox during the booking process on www.kitonrent.site, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to this Rental Agreement in its entirety.
